The Mixtape and Other Projects

The Nada Rec Krew mixtape was released about 3 weeks ago and has been on sale for $5.00. After about another 2 weeks it will most likely be free for download. As for the next volume of The Bandits(Volume 3), we plan on starting it in the next week. Don't expect anymore word about The Bandits V3 until the summer of 2009, which is probably when it will be for sale for $10.00. The reason for the price difference is we are making the cd completely professional and will cost us more money than The NRK mixtape. If you want to be a part of the cd you can comment this or message us on myspace.

fashion bit of the week: Dior homme, Lanvin and A.P.C

Lanvin makes some of the craziest high tops ive seen in a while, the run for about 500-700,




and the new acne colaboration versions are sure to gain some attention. also, other than shoes lanvin also had some sick shit at fashion week. Now Dior Homme, well, lol...personally i think they fell of since hedi slimane left,

other that really amazingly cut jeans...dior also makes really really dope shoes, kanye has been wearing them for a while, his look a bit like mcfly's, prolly why ye got em, lol...lame that the shoes dont have actual names tho....i recently found out that dior jeans are based off of apc, but have a slimer fit and darted pockets




and apc, with apc, the jeans come raw (like litterally cardboard) but the longer you wear them, they naturally fade witch is really dope (all raw jeans do this, expecially brands like dior homme, apc, nudie and samurai, n the list goes on) but anyway i just ordered mine (new cures, which are the most fitted ones, but they do make bigger jeans, i sized down to a 28 tho, they stretch out alot......155, mem and women sz.)

Justice V Surface to Air

One of our favorite dj groups, Justice, has hooked up with Surface to Air to make some Leather jackets and denim, the jackets have a bit of a biker-ish look, which i think is dope, both jackets and the two jeans are slim-fit. what more could you want...they will be available at Surface To Air Paris, Surface To Air Brazil, Colette, Barneys, Lane Crawford, Isetan, Le Bon Marché, Paris Texas, Asylum, and Le Shop. Hopefully the Barneys co-op in ATL or some online shops (other than colette, if the actually put in on the sold out shop, lol....they over price like crazy, imo)

If you don't know who Dr. Romanelli is then you are seriously missing out on some incredible pieces. He takes vintage clothing, and re-pieces them together into new garments. His most popular work is with vintage Nike clothing, and recently he did a colaboration with Converse for the (red) project. This cardigan was done for a store in Las Vegas called Fruition LV which sells lots of retro/vintage and Jeremy Scott clothing (he's a beast) but ths was my fav. he used a dior scarf or bandana or somthing, its crazy: (click the picture to go to his site and see for yourself)
